Aviva Neuman is a Swedish/American filmmaker, dividing her time between New York City and Stockholm.

Aviva is the writer of the short film 20 Minutes, which was selected for Flickers' Rhode Island International Film Festival and Boston International Film Festival. She is also the co-writer of the short Last Call, which won the 2019 NBR Student Grant. Her graduating thesis feature script Oncoming Traffic received Faculty Honors in 2019.

 In 2016 Aviva was awarded a fellowship by the American-Scandinavian Foundation. Aviva was accepted into the Alfred P. Sloan Mentorship Program at Columbia University in 2017. In 2018 Aviva was also selected to the New York Women in Film & TV (NYWIFT) mentorship program.

Aviva is currently working as an assistant for producer Edward Tyler-Nahem at Charlevoix Films based in New York. She also works as a freelance script translator. Recently she set up her original spec script, JONI, with Elevated films.
